DU Shuangshuang – Undergraduate

Shuangshuang is a senior undergraduate life science student from Nanjing University, China. With great interest in conducting research, she joined the Zaidel-Bar lab for an internship as a Junior Research Assistant. She started by assisting Dr. Priti Agarwal in understanding the role of mechanical forces in regulating the C. elegans germline. Currently, she is investigating the role of the actin crosslinking protein plastin in ensuing robust C. elegans epidermal morphogenesis. Post graduation, she plans to pursue a Ph.D in the field of mechanobiology.
